New Addition.......Cousin Maverick

Brooke, Troy, Parker and Vayda added a new baby boy to their clan on November 4, 2010! We are so excited about our new nephew and cousin.......Welcome to the world Maverick Christian Borresen!

HALLOWEEN 2010

Had a great Halloween again this year. Rylie was a Warewolf, Addisyn was a Witch and Kaysie was a pink poodle. We met up with cousins along the way too!

Childrens Museum

Took Rylie and Addisyn to the Childrens Museum over in Brookings a couple weeks ago. It was a fun day. They got to do lots of exploring and so did Mom and Dad. Hopefully we can bring Kaysie along next time.

What do YOU want to be when you grow up?

Addisyn: "Mom, I know what I want to be when I grow up?"

Me: "Great Addi, what is it?"

Addisyn: "I want to be God"

Me: "Well, that is great Addisyn but unfortunatly you can't be God. There is only 1 God and he's not going anywhere"

Addisyn: "Well, when he's done I'm gonna be God and when I'm done being God I'm gonna be Santa Clause."

Pumpkin Patch Feild Trip

I went on a field trip with Rylie to a pumpkin patch so she could get a pumpkin.......50 kindergarten kids on one bus so it was a noisy trip.......good thing we only had to travel to Lake Benton! Rylie got a pumpkin and mom did too so everyone was happy!

Addi starts Pre-school (2010)

Addi Jo started the 4&5 year old PreschoolProgram on October 4, 2010. She will go to school all day on Mondays and Wednesdays this year. Apparently while at school she told one little girl that what she was doing was "Not acceptable". Pretty big words for a 4 year old! She continues to crack us up!

Kaysie turns 1........

Well its official......My baby turned 1!! Where did the year go? We had a great party with family and friends. Love you baby girl :)

Hurdles?

Wade has high hopes that one of his kids will be able to do the Hurdles like he did in Track. I think Kaysie looks like the "winner" What a character!

Rylie's First day of Kindergarten - 2010

Rylie started her first day of School in August. Morgan is not in her class this year but we managed to steal a photo of them together. Some of the kids in her class are Hayden, Halle and Lexi so she did have some familiar faces. Rylie has been going to school over a month now and seems to be doing great. Her teacher told me she is doing well and is a very smart little girl. She comes home every day excited to show us what she did that day and she has become quite the little artist. Way to go Rylie!!!

Sioux Falls Zoo 2010

Took the girls to the Zoo in Sioux Falls this past weekend. They both enjoyed the Monkeys. Rylie was excited for the Giraffe's this year and Addi loved the Zebra's! It was Kaysie's first visit to the Zoo so she was trying to take it all in.

First Friend Birthday Party

Rylie wanted a Friend Birthday Party this year since she was "6". We took Lexi, Morgan and Halle to Grandma's cabin to swim in the pool for the afternoon. I heard giggling for 3 hour straight! It was a great time :)

Storybook Land - August 2010

The girls were anxious to return to Storybook land in Aberdeen, South Dakota again this year. We had 5 campers total this year so the kids had fun playing and going non-stop for two days straight! It was a HOT weekend weather wise but everyone seemed to enjoy themselves.

T-ball 2010

The girls played T-ball this year in Ruthton. It was Rylie's 3rd year and Addisyn's 1st year playing. As you can see they were on the yellow team. Other team members this year were cousin Morgan, Camden and Kate and Seth Cowell.

Rylie and Addisyn's birthday party 2010

We celebrated Rylie and Addi's birthdays this year on July 3, 2010. Rylie will turn 6 on July 20th and Addi turned 4 on June 20th. The girls decided they wanted Tom and Jerry Plates and napkins and a Zebra Pinata so that is what they got :) It was a HOT day but we had a great turn out. Once again they got all they could ever want and more.

Kaysie - 9 months

Kaysie Ryann is 9 months old already. She is still a good baby. Eats good, sleeps good and just started crawling all over the house. She has recently developed quite the little temper though. She is really really happy or very very ticked off! We love her all the same!

Annual trip to Valleyfair

Went to Valleyfair this year on June 29th. Wade and Addisyn joined us this year for the first time. Grandma Mary, Tammy, Mason and Morgan were along for the fun too!! Addisyn and Rylie both liked the mild thing roller coaster and the bumper cars. It was a gorgeous day!
