Bodie

Well after the loss of Harley we decided to get a new Puppy. We discussed names, took a vote and "Bodie" won. Bodie was born on December 5, 2010 and we went to Aberdeen, South Dakota to pick him up on February 5, 2011. He's been a fun addition to the Serreyn Family. As you can see, Rylie even decided to take a nap with Bodie after he came home.......cute stuff!

Every year we go in January to celebrate the Johnson Christmas with Wades side of the family. I had to get a picture of me with my girls as it seems as though I am the one always taking the pictures!

Sad Day

We had to put our dog, Harley, down on December 22, 2010 as she got to sick. We had her about 8 years and its the only dog our kids had ever known. This photo is Rylie saying goodbye. Both my girls told me all they wanted for Christmas was to have Harley back. Broke my heart. We loved Harley, she was a great dog and companion. She will be missed.

Kor Christmas 2010

The Kor Chistmas was celebrated a week before Christmas this year at my mom's house in Russell. We had great attendance and great food as always. We sang christmas carols and even got a visit from Santa.

Santa Visit 2010

We went to the Russell School again this year for our annual visit to Old Saint Nick (aka Santa). Rylie asked Santa for a DS, Addisyn didn't know what she wanted so she asked for a DS also. Its always a fun night and exciting to see what they ask for. Kaysie just wasn't sure about the entire experience :)

New Addition.......Cousin Maverick

Brooke, Troy, Parker and Vayda added a new baby boy to their clan on November 4, 2010! We are so excited about our new nephew and cousin.......Welcome to the world Maverick Christian Borresen!

HALLOWEEN 2010

Had a great Halloween again this year. Rylie was a Warewolf, Addisyn was a Witch and Kaysie was a pink poodle. We met up with cousins along the way too!

Childrens Museum

Took Rylie and Addisyn to the Childrens Museum over in Brookings a couple weeks ago. It was a fun day. They got to do lots of exploring and so did Mom and Dad. Hopefully we can bring Kaysie along next time.

What do YOU want to be when you grow up?

Addisyn: "Mom, I know what I want to be when I grow up?"

Me: "Great Addi, what is it?"

Addisyn: "I want to be God"

Me: "Well, that is great Addisyn but unfortunatly you can't be God. There is only 1 God and he's not going anywhere"

Addisyn: "Well, when he's done I'm gonna be God and when I'm done being God I'm gonna be Santa Clause."

Pumpkin Patch Feild Trip

I went on a field trip with Rylie to a pumpkin patch so she could get a pumpkin.......50 kindergarten kids on one bus so it was a noisy trip.......good thing we only had to travel to Lake Benton! Rylie got a pumpkin and mom did too so everyone was happy!

Addi starts Pre-school (2010)

Addi Jo started the 4&5 year old PreschoolProgram on October 4, 2010. She will go to school all day on Mondays and Wednesdays this year. Apparently while at school she told one little girl that what she was doing was "Not acceptable". Pretty big words for a 4 year old! She continues to crack us up!

Kaysie turns 1........

Well its official......My baby turned 1!! Where did the year go? We had a great party with family and friends. Love you baby girl :)

Hurdles?

Wade has high hopes that one of his kids will be able to do the Hurdles like he did in Track. I think Kaysie looks like the "winner" What a character!

Rylie's First day of Kindergarten - 2010

Rylie started her first day of School in August. Morgan is not in her class this year but we managed to steal a photo of them together. Some of the kids in her class are Hayden, Halle and Lexi so she did have some familiar faces. Rylie has been going to school over a month now and seems to be doing great. Her teacher told me she is doing well and is a very smart little girl. She comes home every day excited to show us what she did that day and she has become quite the little artist. Way to go Rylie!!!
